Alex has extensive experience in valuing and selling both residential and commercial property within the Borders having joined John Sale in October 1992. 

Prior to joining John Sale Alex worked as a Chartered Surveyor in Glasgow dealing predominantly with residential survey work. 

In addition to valuing and selling properties Alex is involved in commercial rent reviews and compulsory purchase and compensation work. 

Alex is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and sits on the Scottish Branch Committee. 

 

Duncan joined John Sale in 1990 as a Valuer and became an Associate Director in 2007. Duncan is heavily involved in all aspects of the residential sales operation.

Michele joined Buccleuch John Sale in 2001 and is an experienced Sales Negotiator. As manager of the Galashiels branch, Michele is based in one of the busiest estate agencies in the Borders.  She posseses first class experience of dealing with both client and customer needs and ensures that Buccleuch John Sale offers the best service possible.

Laura joined Buccleuch John Sale in 2002 as a property sales negotiator in the Galashiels office.  An excellent negotiator, Laura focuses on selling properties and achieving the best price possible.  Her friendly and helpful manner ensures that the selling process is made as easy as possible for our clients.

Susan has been with Buccleuch John Sale since 2006 firstly in our property letting department and then moving to the Sales department in Galashiels as a property sales negotiator.  Having gained previous experience in customer service, Susan is able to deal very efficiently with customer needs.

Nicola works in the Galashiels office on a Saturday, dealing with enquiries from the public and arranging viewings.

Jan came from a career in Banking and Finance and joined John Sale in March 1996 as Lettings Manager and Valuer but soon specialised in Lettings as the business developed and increased year on year.  Jan was appointed as an Associate Director in September 2007.

Having returned to the Borders from Edinburgh, Amanda joined Buccleuch John Sale in April 2004 from a marketing career in the investment management industry.  Initially joining the company as a viewing assistant Amanda soon took up a position in the sales department then moved on to specialise in Lettings.  Amanda was appointed Assistant Lettings Manager in January 2007.

Margaret joined John Sale in March 1996 as a part-time letting assistant on the financial side becoming full-time about 4 years later. Margaret previously worked with the local authority as senior assistant for accounts and wages.

Rhona began her career with Buccleuch John Sale in November 2005 as a full time lettings agent. When her young son started school in 2006, she became part time, working 27.5hrs a week. She came from a background in travel and tourism where she worked as a Travel Manager for 12 years.

Sabrina is the newest member in the Buccleuch John Sale Letting Department having joined the company in July 2007. Prior to becoming a full time Lettings Agent she specialised in the hotel and retail industry.

Samantha recently graduated with a 2:1 Honours degree in Sociology from Strathclyde University and joined Buccleuch John Sale on a full time basis in May 2007 after working on a temporary basis previously during holiday times.
