No. 4 Sweethope Farm Cottages is set in beautiful countryside approximately five miles to the northwest of Kelso.   The cottage is set in a quiet country lane, one of the network of minor roads linking the farms and settlements lying to the east of the A6089 Kelso to Gordon road. The cottage faces southeast with superb views over the Tweed Valley to the Cheviot Hills and on a clear day, the spectacular view from the front of the house stretches as far as the hills of the Northumberland National Park.  

From Kelso, travel north on the A6089 towards Gordon (The A6089 connects with the A68 at Oxton to the north), pass through Nenthorn and roughly half a mile farther on turn east onto the minor road signposted for Whitehill/ Sweethope. The cottage is to be found in the second row of cottages approximately one mile along on the left hand side.

Kelso is arguably the most attractive of the Borders towns, set in an area of great scenic beauty and being particularly noted for its fine Market Square and the remains of one of the great Border Abbeys.  Kelso provides a good shopping centre together with primary and secondary schooling and an excellent range of social and sporting facilities, including golf, rugby, cricket, bowls, tennis, swimming, curling, national hunt racing and fishing.  

The town sits at the confluence of the River Tweed and the River Teviot and has good road links with the other principal towns in the Borders.  

4 Sweethope Farm Cottages is a traditional end of terrace cottage which has been considerably extended to provide spacious and versatile family sized accommodation.   The cottage has been considerably upgraded yet leaves some scope for a purchaser to add value by carrying out further upgrades if required.
